McElrath Trailers Limited Warranty

McElrath Trailers, herinafter referred to as Manufacturer, warrants each new trailer to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for period of one (1) year from date of original sale.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESEED OR IMPLIED, AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES ON THE PART OF THE MANUFACTURER. MANUFACTURER MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE AND ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGE.

What You Must Do

Manufacturer’s liability and obligation is limited to repair or replacement of the product, or refund of the purchase price at Manufacturer’s option, provided the Purchaser returns the claimed defective product to the Manufacturer, with transportation prepaid, and an examination by Manufacturer discloses the product is defective. Allowance otherwise will only be made if specifically approved by Manufacturer.

Exclusions

Manufacturer makes no warranty with respect to tires, wheels, air brake systems, axle assemblies, or hitches or other accessories not manufactured by Manufacturer, as these items are usually warranted specially by the respective manufacturers of those items.

This warranty does not cover any product which has been repaired or altered by other than the Manufacturer. Nor does this warranty cover damage or product failure caused by accident, misuse, negligence or tampering.

This warranty does not cover the deterioration in appearance due to use, nor does it cover normal maintenance.
